What is Pro Trek?
Feel the field
Advanced measurement functions benefiting from miniaturised sensor technologies monitor the constant changes in natural phenomena with reliable accuracy.
Pro Trek is a watch that combines the utility required of an outdoor tool with the precision of a fine quality timepiece. It is constantly evolving and exploring new fields.
Pro Trek is Smart Design and Intelligent Timing
Smart design incorporates increased visibility and the use of analogue hands to enhance the quantitative data displays among many other qualities. Intelligent timing is brought to life through advanced Pro Trek technologies which support adventurers who challenge new territory. Three tiny sensors measure changes in natural phenomena to monitor the great outdoors.
- Direction sensor; measures directions by sensing the Earth’s magnetism. This sensor employs an MI element to achieve dramatically reduced power consumption and solar operation
- Pressure sensor; Measures atmospheric pressure by calculating the piezoresistive effect – a change in electrical resistance values occurring due to changes in mechanical stress on a silicon chip
- Temperature sensor; Measures temperatures with a temperature-sensitive fine ceramic semiconductor called a thermistor
Pro Trek displays numerical values and graphics digitally on a large LCD for easily understandable measurement data presentation.
The striking new additions to the Pro Trek collection, featuring scratch resistant mineral glass

The PRW-5000T-7ER and PRW-5000-1ER are Casio’s latest impressive additions to the Pro Trek range.
The multi-functional sports watches combine the style of a chronograph watch with the functionality of a digital timepiece. With Multi-Band 6 technology, the radio controlled timepiece boasts four core competencies including; a digital compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer.
The water resistant watches, up to 100m, also features Casio’s remarkable cutting edge Wave Ceptor technology, updating the watch’s time up to six times a day, resulting in the most precise timekeeping. With Tough Solar, the high-capacity solar-charging system, which generates power even in the low light of a fluorescent lamp, is another outstanding feature. The large metal function buttons on the side are designed for ease of operation and high operability in the outdoor sports environment. The stylish watches incorporate a wide-viewing angle LCD, ensuring the data display is highly visible.
The PRW-5000T-7ER comes with a titanium strap and casing and the PRW-5000-1ER features a solid stainless steel case and rubber strap.
