Beacon Hill, Norfolk- Monday 30th Aug

Day 3 of the challenge began in Norfolk. The highest point is called Beacon Hill and stands at 133 metres. It was once an old Roman camp. A caravan campsite is still located at the top today and holiday-makers and locals alike can enjoy the beautiful sea views.

There isn’t a mission as such to get to the highest point. Roads allow you to drive up to the top. What is good about this area though is that it provides ample walking routes through woodland and cliffs overlooking shingle beaches.
