Bushey Heath, Middlesex. Monday 30th August

With eight counties already done and ticked off in one day it seemed that another one could be added to that list. The spotlight was put onto North London and a midnight dash from Northamptonshire to the highest point of the old county of Middlesex. Forget trees and country trails for this one, because this top is actually located on the crossroads of A409 Common Road. To the north of crossroads there are some man-made structures that are higher, but these are on private property and don’t count. The top stands at 153 metres.
