Record walk location
Lewesdon Hill - Dorset
See Alan's comments on this walk below. Dorset – Lewesdon Hill. Wednesday 1st September From Sussex Alan travelled to Dorset and Lewesdon Hill. This high top stands at 279 metres and was once an Iron Age hill fort, which is similar to many of the hills in the region. Many routes on and off footpaths can be taken up to the summit. Alan was lucky enough to bump into a local walking his dog and was able to take a stroll to the peak with the pair of them. The hill is National Trust property and you can start a climb to the top from either the village of Broadwindsor, or from Coombe Lane. Powered by Lifestream.
