Pilot Hill, Hampshire. Tuesday 31st August

As the sun continued to shine, Alan’s journey continued onto the beautiful location of Pilot Hill in Hampshire. The highest point here stands at 286 metres. Footpaths and bridleways provide walkers with many routes around and up to the summit. If you want to actually find the trig point though it will be a case of asking for permission as it is located in a farmer’s field. The gentle, rolling slopes are extremely similar in nature to neighbouring counties like Berkshire and Wiltshire and walks from Pilot Hill to these county tops would be possible and very enjoyable.
