Lincolnshire – Sun 29th August
Everyone loves that weekend feeling and even if you’re doing a mad dash record-breaking attempt across England, it’s still nice to take it that bit easier come Sunday morning. A quite relaxed morning saw Alan head to the very flat county of Lincolnshire. Now, some would call this dull, but in essence the Lincolnshire Wolds provide some of the most beautiful views in England.

Popular with ramblers, there are many walks in the region, that although not height challenging, are stunning nevertheless. The highest point of the county is 168 meters high and is just to the north of the village of Normanby le Wold. A trig point marks the spot and it can be reached from the roadside by either a 2 minute jog, or 5 minute walk. Only thing is it’s on private land, so you’ll need permission to reach it.
