Whitehorse Hill - Oxfordshire
See Alan's comments on this walk below. Oxfordshire Whitehorse Hill. Tuesday 31st August Next up on the challenge was an extremely mysterious destination – Whitehorse Hill in Oxfordshire. The hill at Uffington has a long chalk horse figure carved into its side. No one really knows when or why it was created. Scientific experiments show that the carving could date back as far as the bronze age. If you do happen to go walking up the hill along the footpaths, or byways in the area, then go in daylight! Alan unfortunately arrived at this hill in the dark, so wasn’t able to really appreciate the sights. Powered by Lifestream.
